Professional Biography – John Bartkus
John Bartkus is the Principal Project Director of Pensivia, LLC, and a performance improvement consultant that helps organizations change and grow by providing leadership, facilitation and consulting expertise in process improvement and project management. His 20+ years in project management cross a variety of industries, including transportation, software, healthcare, architecture & engineering, and non-profit, and disciplines such as marketing, sales, operations, IT, and consulting. He has worked with companies such as British Airways, SITA, Jacobs Engineering, DFW Airport, the American Heart Association, and Carter & Burgess.
John is a Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) with the International Association of Facilitators. His formal education includes a Bachelor’s in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement. He is the past president of the Fort Worth Chapter of the Project Management Institute which, during his tenure, has earned global recognition with four straight years of awards – including PMI Chapter of the Year (out of 270 world-wide) twice. And last year, John earned the PMI Chapter Leader of the Year Award.
John has specific experience in many areas, including Project Portfolio Management systems, and Project Management Office (PMO) implementations. His expertise is in bringing diverse business stakeholders together with technology experts to deliver tangible business value.
