Fort Hood Energy Management
Speaker Bio: Bobby Lynn’s occupation is Chief, Energy Management Branch (EMB), Directorate of Public Works, Environmental Division, Fort Hood, Texas (The Great Place). He’s a graduate of Marlin High School, Marlin, TX; and later attended Prairie View A&M University, Prairie View, TX, achieving a Bachelors of Science (BS) in Engineering, 1977. He participated in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC), where he served as Commanding Officer (3 years) of the precision drill team, known as the Pershing Rifles. It was through the ROTC program that he entered the U.S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army’s Engineer Corps where he toured Europe and served as Platoon Leader and Executive Officer. In 1981, he served as Company Commander of a training company (Fort Leonard Wood, KS), where he separated the Army at the rank of Captain (1983).
