Join the Fort Worth and Dallas Posts on 6/15 for the Emergency Preparedness Workshop.  This relevant event will focus on how local emergency management personnel, USACE, FEMA, National Weather Service, and others responded to (and are continuing to respond to) the recent local heavy flooding.  The event will facilitate discussion of future mitigation and recovery efforts needed along with how we can build resiliency into our infrastructure for this hazard.

Dorotha (Dorie) Murphy, USA Corps of Engineers Program Manager for Public Law 84-99 (Flood Control and Coastal Emergency Act) at the Fort Worth District will be presenting and she will be joined by co-facilitators:

  • Marty Penney – Region 1 Director, Texas Department of Emergency management (TDEM)
