ALL are welcome to attend, collaborate, and share feedback. We welcome Small and Large Businesses, as well as Prime contractors and Subcontractors.

⚠️ Security & Building Access:  The Fritz G. Lanham Federal Building requires passing through a security checkpoint (similar to airport security). Please allow extra time for entry.

💡 What is a Reverse Industry Day?

This event is designed as a two-way dialogue — we want to hear from you!  While the USACE Fort Worth OSBP Team will share the latest directives and contracting updates, our primary goal is to learn how we can better support your business in our district’s acquisitions.

What to Expect:

Open Discussion:  A casual environment to ask questions, suggest acquisition improvements, and discuss contracting topics.

Come & Go:  You do not need to stay the whole time. Drop in whenever your schedule allows between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

Follow-up:  The OSBP team will share industry questions/feedback with district leadership and post answers/findings to the OSBP website by the next monthly forecast update (by the 4th of the month).

What NOT to Expect:

No One-on-Ones:  Private meetings or 1-on-1 capability briefings will not be offered.

Guaranteed Staff:  Contracting Officers, Program Managers, and District Leadership will be present (however exact USACE SWF personnel is unconfirmed). Christy Frey and Ali Marshall are guaranteed to be available.

📋 Focus Topics

While the floor is open to your questions, the OSBP team will highlight updates on the following key topics:

• Other Transaction Authority (OTA): Highlights from USACE Playbook (dated 12 June 2026) and Lessons Learned from District’s first PDB OTA Solicitation.

• Market Intelligence: The official term used for a “Sources Sought” notice under an OTA acquisition.

• DOW/AF/Army Directives: Latest directives regarding the mandatory use of OTAs.

🚗 Co-Location with SAME FW Post Luncheon (Optional)

This event is strategically scheduled to occur immediately following the monthly SAME Fort Worth Post Luncheon.

You do NOT have to attend the SAME luncheon to attend the Reverse Industry Day.  You are welcome to attend either or both!

• SAME Luncheon Details:  Held on the first Wednesday of each month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

• Transit Options:
  • Walk:  You may walk with Ali and Christy from the luncheon location to the Federal Building (approx. 4 blocks).

• Drive:  Paid parking is available around the Fritz G. Lanham Federal Building.

🚀 Looking Ahead

Our goal is to establish this as a regular quarterly occurrence following future SAME luncheons, with the potential to expand to hybrid (In-Person and Virtual) capabilities in the future. (Note: District Leadership currently prefers in-person engagement, but virtual access MAY be explored in the future).
