Topic: TRWD’s Response to Winter Storm Uri and Lessons Learned

Presenter:         Rachel A. Ickert, P.E., D.WRE, Chief Water Resources Officer, Tarrant Regional Water District

Bio: Rachel Ickert serves as the Chief Water Resources Officer at Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD). She oversees TRWD’s water supply planning, water resources engineering, environmental services, infrastructure engineering, and geospatial services. Rachel received her BS in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas and a diplomate, water resources engineer. She serves on the Trinity Regional Flood Planning Group and as an alternate for the Region C Regional Water Planning Group. Rachel is a member of the Texas Tech Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering Academy and the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers.
