Hattie Williams, Small Business Specialist, Dept of Veteran Affairs,

Hattie Williams is the Small Business Advocate and Specialist for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and brings to us more than fifteen years of sound guidance and technical directions regarding contracting with the Department of Veteran Affairs. Mrs. Williams monitors, develops, counsels and maintains acquisition related training, conducts outreach events on small business practices, as well as provide information to small business firms on “How to do Business,” with the Federal Government.

Mrs. Williams’ previous positions with the Department of Veterans includes, Branch Chief for Construction, Leasing, Prosthetics, Pharmacy, IT and Branch Chief for the Supplies & Services divisions, for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office – VISN 17.

Mrs. Williams has earned a master’s degree in Finance and Business Management from Dallas Baptist University (DBU). Also, she completed her Bachelors of Arts & Science in Business Administration from DBU.

Additionally, Ms. Williams has received several SBL of the year awardee and received a commendation for her exceptional performance in support of Veteran Owned Small Businesses
