Perfecto M. Solis is the Vice-President of Airport Development and Engineering for Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport. He provides key leadership for planning, programming, and developing strategies to manage the design and construction of facilities in fulfillment of the Airport’s Master Plan. In addition to annual capital projects he is responsible for the completion of the Airport’s $2.3 billion Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program (TRIP).
Prior to this role, Solis served as the Assistant Vice President of the Airport Development Department and as the senior project manager for the Airport’s nearly $1 billion SkyLink Automated People Mover System. He has been with the Airport Board for over 15 years.
Solis participates on numerous technical and management committees and boards including the Transportation Research Board, Airport’s Council International – North America, Airport Consultants Council, American Association of Airport Executives, American Society of Civil Engineers, and Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
Solis received his degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a registered Texas Professional Engineer. He is currently serving a four year term with the Texas State Board of Professional Engineers as a designee to both the Industry and Governmental Advisory Committees.
Solis resides in Flower Mound with his wife, Mary, and daughters, Sarah and Hannah.
