We have received “Outstanding” or “Above Average” ratings on over 90% of our design contracts. Since Neel-Schaffer was formed in 1983, the firm has provided services for numerous USACE contacts including: Four indefinite delivery and one design contract for Memphis District, Five indefinite delivery contracts for Mobile District, Six indefinite delivery and three fixed fee contracts for Vicksburg District, One indefinite delivery and one H/H study contract with Little Rock District, One design contract for Nashville District.

(O’Brien) was established in 1987 as a civil engineering and environmental firm specializing in water resources, dam and levee safety, and floodplain management.  Today, our core competencies remain while we have diversified with architectural, structural engineering, construction management, GIS, and staff and professional support services.  O’Brien is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and has enjoyed the opportunity to serve a variety of clients including federal, state, municipal, and private industry.  Over the years, O’Brien has served several US Army Corps of Engineers’ Districts including the Fort Worth District.  We are currently providing AE Construction Phase Services to ECSO in support of DHS’s Customs and Border Patrol.  Other projects include Independent Technical Reviews for the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division and Northwestern Division for flood risk and dam studies, and are a subconsultant on several dam risk and dam rehabilitation IDIQs for the Tulsa District, Vicksburg District, USBR, and Texas Army National Guard.  We also hold a GSA Schedule contract: GS-00F-0009X.  O’Brien has been an active member in SAME Fort Worth Post for nearly 10 years and look forward to many more years to come.  For more information, contact Sarah Cole: 972 233 2288 or scole [at] obrieneng.com.
