Due to the numerous SAME events in the month of August, i.e., SAME Ntl Post Leaders Workshop (Virtual), Industry Day (Virtual), SAME Dallas Resiliency Forum (Virtual), we will not have the normal August monthly meeting.

July 6th Monthly Meeting via Webex: Waters of the United States – An Update, by Peter Chandler, Regulatory Technical Specialist, USACE Fort Worth District Regulatory Division
The Fort Worth Post is hosting a virtual monthly Webex meeting due to COVID-19. What waterbodies are subject to regulation under the Clean Water Act has been debated and litigated for decades. This presentation will provide an overview of where this troubled term has been, where it currently is at, and where it may be going. Discussion of the latest efforts to define it via the Navigable Waters Protection Act will be included.
