The Clothing Room at Austin Street Center for Community Engagement is an opportunity with some level of client interaction that is perfect for anyone great at multitasking. The tasks performed include but are not limited to filling and distributing clothing orders, distributing filled clothing orders and client mail, preparing “basic order bags” prior to intake, and assisting with client and facility laundry. This position helps extend our resources to provide clothing and basic needs items to our clients.
Upon arrival at Austin Street Center’s gated parking lot, press the intercom button and inform our receptionist that you are here for your service opportunity. Our volunteer entrance will be the first set of double doors on the right-hand side, on the southeast corner of the campus. You are more than welcome to park in any available parking spot. Our receptionist will guide you to the check-in kiosks. Simply sign in and check in for the listed opportunity.
