Fort Worth Engineer District: Projects, Program, and Business Opportunities, Presented by Bob Morris, Acting Deputy Commander/Deputy Chief, Program and Project Management Division – USACE Fort Worth District

Robert P. Morris, Jr. is the Deputy Chief of the Program & Project Management Division in the Fort Worth Engineer District.  Prior to this position, Mr. Morris served as the Deputy Chief, Engineering & Construction Division, Deputy District Engineer, and the BRAC and Medical Program Manager in the Program & Project Management Division.

He also served in many capacities during his 25 years of active duty with the U.S. Army including Deputy Commander of the Fort Worth Engineer District, Deputy for Operations and Security for Task Force Restore Iraqi Oil, Deputy Facility Engineer for the Defense Intelligence Agency, Facility Engineer with the Multi-National Forces and Observers in Sinai, Egypt, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at West Point.

Mr. Morris earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy in 1980 and Masters of Arts Degree in Geography from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill.  He is a registered professional engineer in the States of Virginia and Florida, holds a Level 3 Army Facility Engineering Acquisition Corps certification, holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, and is a Fellow in the Society of American Military Engineers.
