Wednesday, October 5, 2022 SAME Fort Worth Post Monthly Luncheon TOPIC: T-7 Program – Aircraft and Maintenance Simulator Facilities Jacobs will present their experience with designing two types of facilities that are new with the T-7 trainer aircraft. As the mission requirements evolved, so did the design. As the facility requirements were refined for JBSA-Randolph AFB, the follow on design for Columbus AFB benefited. SPEAKERS Vince Saroni, PE, was the Jacobs Project Manager for the JBSA-Randolph AFB projects to beddown the Air Force’s new T-7 Trainer Aircraft. He has been the project manager for over $15M in Architect/Engineering full design projects and has been with Jacobs for about 5 years. He has prior experience with Air Force civil engineering and with a DFW municipality. Jerry Perry, AIA, was the Jacobs Design Principal for both the JBSA-Randolph AFB and Columbus AFB projects to beddown the Air Force’s new T-7 Trainer Aircraft. He led the efforts to align the technical requirements of the T-7 simulators with the space needs to create optimized building configurations. Jerry has been the lead design architect on more than 50 projects for the Department of Defense on both CONUS and OCUNUS military installations. _________________________ The RAFFLE is back so don’t forget to bring cash!!!
