(OEI), established in 1987, has been an active supporter of the Fort Worth Post for over 10 years. We are proud of the many opportunities we have had to be involved, serving the Post and its mission. Through our involvement we have been able to work with some great people, firms, municipalities, and government entities (including the Fort Worth District, other USACE Districts, DHS (CBP and FEMA), the VA, etc). O’Brien was founded nearly 30 years ago in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex as a water resources firm specializing in surface water analysis including hydraulic, hydrologic, and hydrodynamic modeling including 2-D, drainage design, floodplain management, dam and dam rehabilitation, and strategic regulatory permitting. We continue to remain true to these core competencies today while we have further diversified in engineering, architecture, and environment to better serve our clients’ needs. We are excited about some of our recent prime contract wins including a 5-year IDIQ A/E contract for the Fort Worth District’s Engineering and Construction Support Office serving the District, other Districts, and other agencies particularly the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection agency. O’Brien also won the Dallas Love Field combined Taxi Queuing Lot, Parking Garage, and Drainage Improvement project meant to ease some of the congestion that has recently surged as a result of the Wright Amendment repeal. And, we won a VA slope stabilization project at the National Cemetery in West Virginia. OEI is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and a Texas HUB firm.
